Signa Academy Learnership 2025

Signa Academy offers a series of accredited learnership programmes for South Africans who are seeking to gain workplace skills, recognised qualifications, and practical experience. These programmes are designed for both unemployed individuals and those already employed but looking to upskill.


What Programmes Are Available

The academy provides learnerships in diverse fields including:

  • Information Technology, such as Technical Support and Systems Development
  • Business Administration and Generic Management
  • Fruit Packing and Grading under AGRI SETA
  • Future courses include Sales Representative (pending implementation)

These courses are SETA- or QCTO-accredited, ensuring they meet national standards.


Eligibility & Requirements

To apply for a learnership, you must generally:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Have at least a Grade 9, 10, 11 or Grade 12 qualification, depending on course level
  • Provide certified documents including ID, proof of qualification, proof of address, and, if applicable, medical documents for disability disclosure

There are no fees for learners; the programmes are funded through corporate sponsorships.


Stipend & Support

Learners often receive a monthly stipend (e.g. between R 3,000 and R 4,000) to assist during training.

In addition to academic and technical training, Signa Academy offers wellness support to learners, including services for mental and physical health.

  3. Wait for confirmation from the recruitment team. If selected, you will receive a learnership contract and begin training.
