Momentum Short-Term Insurance Learnership Programme 2026
Momentum Insure, in collaboration with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA), is offering an exciting Short-Term Insurance Learnership for unemployed South African youth.
This structured learnership programme will run from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027, providing participants with valuable workplace exposure and industry-specific training in the short-term insurance sector.
Upon successful completion, learners will obtain a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Short-Term Insurance (NQF Level 4) — a nationally recognised qualification that enhances employability in the insurance industry.
Learnership Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Momentum Short-Term Insurance Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 25 years old (including turning 25 in 2026)
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID (ID copy must be attached)
- Have passed Matric, with a minimum of 50% in English (Mathematics is advantageous)
- Attach a Matric certificate or preliminary exam results (for current Matric learners)
- Be fluent in English (read, write, and speak)
- Be computer literate
- Be currently unemployed with little or no work experience
- Not be studying at any institution or hold any post-Matric qualifications
- Not be registered for another learnership
- Have a clear criminal and credit record
- Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in Short-Term Insurance
Important: Applications submitted without a certified ID copy and Matric (or prelim) results will not be considered.
