DHL YES 4 Youth Learnerships 2026 are now open for applications, offering unemployed young South Africans a chance to gain valuable work experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. This programme forms part of the national Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative, which aims to help young people develop workplace skills and improve their chances of long-term employment.
Successful candidates will receive hands-on training and workplace exposure at the P&G Jozi Park site, where six learnership positions are currently available.
About the DHL YES 4 Youth Learnership Programme
The DHL YES 4 Youth Learnership Programme 2026 is designed to help young job seekers gain practical experience within a professional logistics environment. Participants will learn key operational processes while supporting daily warehouse and delivery activities.
Learners will work alongside experienced supervisors, team leaders and managers to complete assigned tasks and develop the skills required in the logistics and supply chain sector.
This programme is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a career in logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Participants in the DHL YES 4 Youth Learnership will assist with several operational duties, including:
- Learning and understanding client service requirements to meet operational standards
- Assisting with loading and offloading deliveries
- Learning the correct use of warehouse equipment and reporting any faults
- Identifying and reporting non-conformities related to customer goods
- Working in operational areas assigned by management
- Following standard operating procedures and workplace safety rules
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Supporting stock counts and inventory management processes
- Completing assigned tasks accurately and within deadlines

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the DHL YES 4 Youth Learnerships 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- South African citizen
- Unemployed youth between 18 and 29 years old
- Employment Equity candidate
- Able to communicate in English (written and spoken)
Advantageous but not required:
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
- Forklift or reach truck licence
