The Eastern Artisan Skills Training Centre (EASTC), in partnership with the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency (SEDFA), is offering Electrical Apprenticeships for the 2026 intake. Purpose of the Electrical Apprenticeship
The purpose of the Electrical Apprenticeship Programme is to:

On completion, apprentices will be eligible to pursue trade testing in line with national regulations.
Apprenticeship Duration
The Electrical Apprenticeship Programme runs for approximately 36 months, depending on progress and trade requirements. The programme includes institutional training, workplace exposure, and continuous assessments.
Training Components
Theoretical Training
Apprentices will receive classroom-based training covering:
- Electrical principles and theory
- Occupational health and safety

Practical Workplace Training

- South African citizen
- Aged 18 to 35 years
- Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science

- Medically fit for technical and physical work
- Willing to commit to the full duration of the apprenticeship
