Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Grade 12
- Must have passed Mathematics and Physical Science
- Must have no criminal record
- Must be medically fit to work in a mining environment
- Must be willing to work long hours and shifts
- Must be committed to completing the learnership
- Must be willing to relocate or stay near the mine if required
For engineering learnerships, the following additional requirements apply:
- N2 with relevant trade subjects (e.g., Electrical, Fitting, Diesel Mechanic, Boilermaking)

- Commit to the full duration of the learnership
