The RCL Foods Learnership Programme 2026 offers a unique opportunity for young, motivated individuals to develop professional baking skills through a 12-month SETA-accredited programme. This learnership includes hands-on training, mentorship, and coaching designed to equip learners with practical experience in the baking industry.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a formal SAQA-endorsed qualification, ensuring they are industry-ready and equipped with the skills required by both RCL FOODS and the relevant SETA.
About the Supreme Siyabhaka Academy
Through the Supreme Siyabhaka Academy, the programme aims to:
- Develop skilled, employable youth by nurturing individual talent and addressing the shortage of professional bakers in the industry.
- Promote RCL Foods’ baking brands as leaders in quality, consistency, and excellence.
- Elevate industry standards by improving in-store and professional bakery product quality, enhancing consumer perception, and strengthening customer relationships.
Learnership Requirements
To qualify for the RCL Foods 2026 Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Hospitality Studies and Mathematical Literacy (essential).
- Computer literacy, especially in MS Office, is an added advantage.
- Demonstrates drive and motivation to achieve results.
- Shows a willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills.
- Possesses creative thinking, lateral problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
